My name is Rajendra K and I am practicing safety for the last 41 years. I have worked with companies like Nagarjuna Fertilisers & Chemicals, Rolls Royce Spectrum Power, Nagarjuna Construction, and so on and was responsible for improving safety performance. Safety week is celebrated to improve safety awareness and to engage the workforce in safety-related activities. During my journey as a safety professional, I have seen organizations celebrating safety week have experienced the success and failure reasons of safety week. Many organizations fail to engage the workforce in safety week as they miss on some important planning steps.
