1. First 10 to 30 seconds are critical, as workers tend to react to the presence of an observer and at-risk behaviours “evaporate” quickly.

2. The first point to observe is reactive behaviour.

3. PPE is to shield the body from exposure to hazardous physical, environmental or chemical agents.

4. Observer should familiar with the hazards and protective gear that is appropriate for each work area.
